Composer of Classical Music

Biography

I was a "ten pound pom". My family arrived in Australia in 1964. My father played 'cello and bass and it was from him that I got my love of classical music. I picked up the violin when I was sixteen and have been playing since. It was about this time that melodies came into my head. I have always wanted to compose but a career as a chemist and then management consultant plus having a family of my own took up my time. In 2010 I found myself with the time but, as many aspiring composers have found, not the technique so I am grateful to the help I have received from Jin, Quentin and Kerry. April, 2014
